Reading Room

This is the family ebook collectionβ€”the place to find a book already on the shelves and start reading.

What you will do here most

Find an ebook and read it

Browse or search the family shelves, open the book you want, then choose the reading option. You can come back later and continue using your own account.

The usual visit

Use your own family-library account so your shelves and reading choices stay separate from everyone else's.

2

Look through the library, or search by title and author. You can also browse by author, series, category, language, rating, publisher, or available format.

3

Open the book

Select a title to see its details and the ebook formats available in the collection.

4

Read or take a copy

Read supported formats in the browser, or download the ebook to your device when downloading is allowed.

5

Keep your shelves tidy

Mark books read/unread and add favorites or groups of books to personal shelves so they are easy to find again.

Everything you can do in the Reading Room

Search normally or narrow down results with more detailed search choices.

πŸ§‘β€πŸ« Browse the catalog many ways

Explore authors, series, publishers, categories/tags, ratings, languages, formats, and the main book table.

πŸ“– Read in the browser

Open supported ebook formats directly in the built-in reader.

⬇️ Download a book

Save an available ebook format to a phone, tablet, computer, or reading app when your account permits downloads.

πŸ”– Keep your place

The reader supports bookmark/progress information so a book can be continued later.

βœ… Mark books read or unread

Track what you have finished and what is still waiting for you.

πŸͺ΅ Make personal shelves

Create shelves, add or remove books, and arrange books into collections that make sense to you.

πŸ‘€ Manage your own profile

Use the personal profile page for account options that your family account is allowed to change.

πŸ“± E-reader connections

The server supports OPDS/Kobo/KOReader-style integrations and sending books to configured devices. These need separate setup before you use them.

πŸ—ƒοΈ See book details and formats

Check a title's information and see which formats are actually available before opening or downloading it.

Good to know: if the book is not here yet, go back to the Circulation Desk and request it. Device-sync and send-to-reader features only work after that device has been configured.
